Sydney : After a moderate second day  Australia controls day three of the pink test and  strengthen their position with 197 runs lead and 8 wickets still intact. The host bundle out India for 244 to take a massive lead of 197 runs . 

Earlier in the day Cummins removed Indian captain Rahane on short delivery . At lunch India were on 180/ 4 except Pujara  no batsmen were able to resist Aussies attack  as Pujara completed his hard fought fifty. Later he was dismissed by Pat Cummins .

” They bowled a good line and length and it wasn’t easy. If you hang around a bit you need to spend a lot of time out there . It’s look like a flat pitch but it’s not . The ball sometimes on the right length is not easy to score runs .” Said Cheteshwar Pujara .

Back to back injuries scared India as Rishabh Pant was hit on his elbow and soon after his dismissaled  by Josh Hazelwood on 36 from 67 , he was taken for scans . Soon after that all rounder star player Ravindra Jadeja faced similar delivery by Mitchell Starc and injured his left thumb . He remain unbeaten for 28 and left the pitch for scans . Hope to see them on field tommorow .

 Australia’s second inings started on a not so impressive note as  both openers loose their wicket as Siraj got  Pucovski(10) caught behind while Ashwin removed  Warner(13) lbw in his first over of the day.

However Steve Smith and Labuschagne  continued to dominate.  Smitn is on 29 while labuschagne playing on 47 . Both will look after to carry the momentum  on Sunday .
