The wait is over and D-Day has arrived ! The IPL 2022 Retention is here and stage is set as total 10 teams will be participating in the next biggest T20 league .

Lucknow and Ahmedabad are brand new teams which include. The current 8 team released their retention today and the 2 new team have the option for retaining 3 players each out the list. The 3 players must be a combination of a maximum of two Indian or two overseas. Each of 10 teams has given pool of INR 90rs to spend on retention and purchase. The teams that are retaining four players will have deducted 42 crores from their wallet.

David Warner and Rashid Khan are not retained by SRH management while KL Rahul decided to leave Punjab Kings and wanted to go in auction .
