No shine on the wicket indicates the pitch might turn slow in the end and that’s what exactly happened here in the fight between KKR and RCB. Virat Kohli winning the toss ,electing to bat first. Devdutt Padikkal and Aron Finch providing them just the right start. They went to score a 67 partnership with over 8runs per over before Devdutt got cleaned up Dre Russ for 32 (23). Aaron Finch and Virat Kohli were running the quicks just before Finchy got bowled by Prasidh Krishna. De Villiers and Virat Kohli were the duo that the RCB lineup were looking upto for a 170 plus total in a slow surface. Just when the KKR bowlers were going all good , AB De Villiers triggered the Sharjah run fest. He went after Nagarkoti , Cummins And Russel since the start of the 16th over and made sure that every ball hit the sweet spot of his bat and gets dispatched out of the park. He scored a thumping 73 (33) amassed with six 6’s and five 4’s. That score along with Virat’s descent 33 took RCB to 194-2 after 20 overs.

In return , Kkr coming to bat , lost early wickets. Once again a change in their opening pair. Tom banton who had come to open with Subhman Gill was the first one to go down. Navdeep Saini cleaned him up with a quicker one. Nitish Rana , too fell early to the class of Washington Sundar. Subhman Gill was the next to get out in a run out fashion. Eoin Morgan , DK , Russel Joined soo without scoring much. Sundar , Chahal, Udana doing the job for the Bolds in the middle. And slowly and steadily all the 9 wickets trembled fast as the RCB bowlers took charge on. In the end KKR could just register 112-9 after 20 overs and what a win for RCB. They just got their biggest win against KKR by a margin of 82 runs. Once again how good were the spin duo Wahsington Sundar and Yuzi Chahal . Sundar finished off with 4-0-20-2 and Chahal finished off with 4-0-12-1.
