The Bob Willis trophy will be a special one-off tournament played this summer due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The tournament will commence on August 1st.
The new trophy will depict Bob Willis bowling action designed by Bob Willis’ wife Lauren
The 18 counties divided into three groups North, South, and Central will one game against each other in the group stage. The top two group winners will face each other in the finale.

The pandemic situation won’t allow spectators in the ground. So where one can watch the matches?
All county will live stream their matches on respective websites.
Rules and and regulations
- New balls after 90 overs instead of 80 overs.
- Each county’s first innings can be of maximum 120 overs
- The follow-on will be now 200 runs instead of 150
- Minimum overs reduced from 96 to 90
- Loan a player for a minimum of a week.
- In case of draw 8 points to offer instead of 5
- For draw final the team with first-innings lead wins given at least two innings is completed else trophy is shared.
