Four gloveman was used by England Cricket Bruce French got injured and was replaced by Bill Athey who kept two overs. The rest of the second day was completed by Bob Taylor, Hampshire Cricket Bobby Parks kept wicket on the third day.

Bruce French was trying to sway away from Headley bouncer but was stuck on the backside only to get stitches.

Windies Cricket team were compelled to use three different keepers in the England second inns owing to original keeper Shane Dowrich injury. and Shai Hope was temporarily gloveman and finally, Joshua da Silva.
