A Chennai-based advocate filed a petition to ask the MHC to ban online gambling apps. He further stated Virat Kohli and Tamannah have brainwashed the that youngsters, as they are getting addicted to it.

The bench of Hemalatha, M.M Suresh will hear the case on Tuesday.

The incident regarding the suicide of a youngster in Tamil Nadu after failing to pay the debt, post online gambling. He also claimed that a recent increase in suicidal tendencies was related to online gambling.

Madurai branch of Chennai high court asked “why online gambling apps shouldn’t be banned?”.

The petitioner also compared online gaming such as the Blue Whale game.
