Mumbai Indians repurchased Australia’s pace bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile for around 5 crores as they tried to fill the gaps left within their side with the departure of pace bowlers Lasith Malinga and Mitchell McCleneghan. Earlier this year, the five-time champions released Coulter-Nile but wanted to buy his services again for the new season.

MI also purchased Kiwi pacer, Adam Milne, for 3.2 crores and allrounder James Neesham for 50 lakh. The highly-scouted South African talent Marco Jansen was also purchased for 20 lakh by the team.

The biggest talking point at the auction table came when they purchased Arjun Tendulkar, for around 20 lakh.
