1997: 150 km apart two great performances in Women Cricket shook the world. B Clark became first cricketer to score double century in limited over international cricket as she scored breathtaking 229 against Denmark Women at Bandra ,Mumbai. The match also witnessed the second 400 runs score in 50 over international cricket.The first 400 runs score by men took almost a decade time. C Edwards taking a cue from Clark’s batting blasted 173 runs(second highest till date) against Ireland Women at Poona.

2006:  The Proteas, having no answer to Sreesanth’s pace and seam movement, were bowled out for 84 runs. Sreesanth took five wickets for forty runs as India went to win their first Test in South Africa.
